Can you win the lotto 7 times

November 11, 2013 by Reporter Leave a Comment

American resident "Richard Lustwig" has beaten  the odds not one but seven times by winning the lotto.

the big lottery winner story on how to pcik numbers

Australian lotteries are subject to many regulations, which generally vary by state. The minimum age to purchase lottery products is 18. Monday & Wednesday Lotto is a lotto game played in all states and territories except Queensland. In Australia the odds for winning a division 1 , 6 winning numbers + the Powerball  for 1 game is 76,767,600:1 and this can vary with the jackpot amount

Richard has been playing the lotto or lottery for 25 years now, one of the tips he gives  is not to buy "quick picks" which in Australia is "slik picks" and suggests that punters should  start picking their numbers  as his theory is  that the odds are stacked in your favour  as you are constantly playing the same number. He says slick picks always generate random new numbers  and so  your odds  of winning will always be high  with slick picks or quick picks.

In America they have two types of lotto which are popular  which are called “scratch offs” and “quick picks” which is similar to the “slikpicks” and “scratchies” in Australia

Another tip he gives is to  not to randomly pick different  types of scratchies when you head to the shops , but pick multiple scratchies all in the same bundle and game to have a better chance of winning.

Richard Lustwig’s biggest lotto win was  his fifth win with a nice $842,000 winning. He won his first lotto in  1992 with a $10,000 payout.

Richard has not disclosed how much he has lost on trying to win lotto, however he does  recommend that people should try lotto only with money that they can afford to lose and always have priority for food and bills before the lotto. In the USA many states have different laws in relation to revealing lotto winners and not all states have the option to keep secret “the winners of the  big lotto wins”.
He has released the book "Learn how to increase your chances of winning lottery”   which is available on amazon.

He now owns a Jaguar and a Harley Davidson motorcycle with his winnings  and also bought a BMW for his son. Richard Lustig believes there’s more to winning the lottery than luck and says his seven wins prove that there is a method to the madness.

In  Australia as well there has been winners who have won multiple times  and also systems and software available to  pick winning numbers .click here to check it out

1 million prize for solving Beal conjecture  theorem

The American Mathematical Society (AMS) in Rhode Island has announced that the prize for the solution to the Beal Conjecture, a number theory problem, has been changed AND increased to USD 1 million.

The  Beal conjecture :

http://www.bealconjecture.com/

The conjecture is named for D Andrew ‘Andy’ Beal, (the Dallas banker) who has a strong interest maths and who provided the funds for the Beal Prize and is looking forward  to solution to his number theory.

The prize will be given

For a proof of solution

or a counterexample to, the Beal Conjecture.

An other previous maths  theorem that baffled geniuses “Fermat’s Last Theorem theorem” was proved in the 1990s by Andrew Wiles, together with Richard Taylor.

A  prize (USD 1,00,000.)for a solution to the Beal Conjecture was announced in 1997. To date, no correct solution to the problem has been found.

Andrew Beal Math Problem

The famous  Poincare Conjecture, was solved by Russian mathematician Grigori Perelman in works he made public in 2003 and he went on to turn down the monetary prize.

To earn this 1 Million Beal Prize

A  proposed solution must be published in a refereed mathematics publication which is respected and, in the opinion of the prize committee (selected by the AMS), maintains the highest editorial standards.

Are the wealthy taking over Australia ?

March 3, 2012 by Reporter Leave a Comment

Australia is losing its “fair go” culture  and is under threat  from a elite and rich group of wealthy business people – including Andrew forest, Gina Rinehart and Clive Palmer – who are using their riches  to undermine good Policy and threaten our democracy –says Treasurer Wayne Swan . Mr swan has steered most businesses in Australia through the GFC with much less impact  than has been felt throughout other economies.

wealthy oppose tax Mr wayne swan speech

Image Reference: The Monthly – Full Article

Mr Swan said Australians should be concerned  about the excessive and increasing power of vested interests  with power and wealth to back up their agenda to their own benefit.

This was evident  when major Mining companies said they were cutting down expansions and staff due to the Mining tax  and GFC and other factors, but soon as the Rudd led cabinet was shafted in favour of  Julia Gillard  they went ahead with their million dollar project expansions.

There was bitterness after the mineral  resource rent tax  and carbon price was introduced  with the purses of  the wealthy being hit. The big miners Invested millions of dollars in opposing  these taxes and policies by advertising in TV and print media  , saying it would hit the common man in Australia. It is unusual that this direct method was used by the wealthy corporations rather than politicians being influenced and lobbying being done which is often the case at times.

Mr swan has urged Politicians to cater to and look after the common mans benefit , and supporting the workers rather than succumbing to the lobbying of the wealthy  and  to give Australia  the sense of fairness and decency it deserves.

The government is said to be in the midst of considering a report on media law reform. This could be the result of Gina Rinehart  taking a large shareholding in The seven news media network , making her even more powerful which could be a cause for concern for many only not only  within the media industry but also outside  the media industry.

Radio , TV and Newspapers due to the power they wield have often have been claimed to support and make and break governments in other countries , deciding on who they decide to favour.

Mr swan goes on to write that  the mining campaigns brought out by the wealthy people against the tax damaged  the government , brought on instability and resulted in prime minister Mr Rudd being toppled. With this proposed Mining tax not going through, the government will be short of $110 Billion to use towards taxpayers benefit.

Mr swan said "It is the tiny 1 precent, or even 0.1 per cent (you know who they are) who are trying to drown out the others, who are blind to the national interest and pour their considerable personal fortune into advertising ,armies of lobbyist, dodgy modelling, and corporate and commercial manoeuvring designed to influence editorial decisions.

Oswals accuse Anz , Yara of colluding on sale of burrup

May 12, 2011 by Reporter Leave a Comment

The Oswals left Australia after receivers were appointed in December and their Australian assets – including a private jet  , a million dollar mansion and their billion dollar company Burrup fertilizers – were frozen  and became part of a receivership in February.

Burrup fertilizers sale sham

Bids for Burrup fertilizers who has had Receivers appointed are understood to be due by May 30. Mr Oswal said  this was proof the bank wanted to force a sale below market price and indicated that ANZ and YARA ( the part owner of Burrup) had colluded to  get  s discount price for the billion dollar company under receivership.

“Given this ridiculously short period that international and local buyers have been given to consider a multi-billion dollar asset, conduct their due diligence, and submit a bid, it seems clear that the process is designed to eliminate genuine competitive buyers and facilitate the purchase by Yara at below market value,” he said in the statement.

Recievership bids for Burrup fertilizers

Mr OSWAL SAID “I reiterate my previous comments that I believe ANZ, PPB Advisory, and Yara (International, a company with a 35 per cent holding in Burrup) have colluded to force me to sell at a rock bottom price.

The sales process is being conducted exclusively by Flagstaff, a small Melbourne advisory firm,  Flagstaff is chaired by Charles Goode, an ex-chairman of the ANZ Bank. The oswals  said that  it is further evidence that the sales process is a sham designed to facilitate a hasty sale to Yara.

Trader’s million dollar mistake makes Market almost collapse

May 7, 2010 by Reporter Leave a Comment

Both Fox News and CNBC reported that a trading error involving P&G stock could have been responsible for part of a  massive dip that dragged  and shocked the Dow Jones Industrial Average within a hair’s breadth of a 1,000-point drop.

The Dow fell 998.5 points, slipping well under 10,000 after a sudden sell-off that saw investors desert stocks .

A trade done by mistake may have been partially to blame for a huge crash in the US markets on Thursday, reports said, as observers questioned why Proctor & Gamble’s stock tumbled precipitously.

CNBC and Business Insider reported that a trader from Citigroup was to blame, though a Citi spokesman cautioned it was too early to tell what had happened. Suspicions that an error, whether mechanical or human, had contributed to the market dive emerged shortly after the Dow leveled off, and it began to climb almost as quickly as it had fallen.
