Evolution is the key to running any successful business. In this modern age of all things technological, it is no wonder software has made its mark on many, if not all Australian businesses. Software has enabled businesses to make great strides in efficiency, accessibility, customer service and improvements in standards and quality. In this article, we have a look at just exactly how software has changed the Australian business landscape. Read on to find out more.

  1. Keeping Cash Flows In Check

One of the sectors that have been most impacted by software is cash flow. With the use of technologies such as invoicing software in Australia, many companies now have the ability to send invoices out quickly, efficiently and on the go. A healthy, steady cash flow is vital when running any successful business, and oftentimes, slow/late payments can negatively affect it. With invoicing software, invoices are automated, sent out at a set time and date each month and can be kept track of with the touch of a button. Reminders can be sent out to those who are late on payments, and reports can be assessed to see which customers or clients have a poor track record of paying invoices on time. With this data, businesses have been able to alter their payment agreements with customers, or even completely cut off customers who don’t seem to pay up. Taking these steps have assisted Australian businesses in staying on top of cash flow and cutting down on the time needed to prepare manual invoices or chase them up.

      2.    Customer Management

As businesses start to grow, it becomes increasingly difficult to remember each individual customer’s needs, purchase history and past orders to use as a reference when recommending new services to them. Customer relationship management software, also known as CRM software, is one of the best ways of keeping track of all points of contact with customers so that businesses can nurture relationships and increase sales. CRM has become an integral part of the Australian business landscape as it gives businesses the ability to monitor customer activities as well as keep track of individual customer needs. A good CRM software can help track a wide variety of information, allowing businesses to make better marketing decisions and build stronger relationships with customers.

      3.    Online Marketing

There is a growing number of software options built and designed to assist businesses in online marketing. In the digital age, online marketing is an essential component of running a successful business. Many software options now assist companies in social media marketing, pay-per-click advertising and content marketing, all essential facets of any successful online marketing campaign. Software can assist you in researching what keywords will work best with your online marketing and can assist you in coordinating all your efforts and monitoring the success of your current campaigns.

      4.    Improved Security

Regardless of what kind of business you run, security is on the top list of priorities. A lot of sensitive information such as bank card details and private financial information is shared online in the digital age, making security a top concern for many. Thankfully, there are a wide number of security softwares available to Australian businesses that can assist in keeping this sensitive data safe and out of the hands of hackers or anyone else who is up to no good. Software can even identify the weaknesses in your system and make recommendations on how you can go about improving it. Security software is essential in today’s world, and its existence is helping businesses all around the country operate safely, securely and in turn, keeping customers satisfied and feeling like their information is in good hands.

We hope that this article has given you some insight into how software has changed the Australian business landscape for the better. Regardless of what field your business is in, we are certain that you will benefit from the implementation of software in your daily business activities!

Why are Keywords still relevant in 2019?

February 24, 2019 by Reporter Leave a Comment

Talk about SEO and ‘keywords’ is something that everyone would speak of..

Since the beginning of the world (okay, SEO world), keywords have played important roles in both off page and on page SEO. It’s just been lately that arguments about their relevance have started to crop up.

So, what’s the deal? Do they matter? Or do they not? And if they do, how do they? And how much?

Well, if any or all of those questions have brought you here, rest assured, we got your back.

Why keywords matter in 2019? And do they even?

Well, I don’t know how the case study went, but the quote gave us something precious.

Keyword stuffing. While it might come off as appealing to some (I don’t know how that’s happening), turns out, it’s a big turn off for both users and search engines.

While there used to be times when it could skyrocket both traffic and revenue, now it sucks big time. Reason? Search engines are smarter now. They aim at delivering qualified search results to their users.

And our best bet with that? Play along. Deliver qualified content to be a part of those qualified search results. Something, that can never be achieved with keyword stuffing.

Okay, so enough about stuffing. How else do keywords affect SEO and marketing overall now?

1. Still important for search rankings

Just because keyword stuffing is prohibidado doesn’t mean keywords are out of fashion. They still affect your website’s SEO.

The thing is that they tell the search engines about the contents of a web page.

Also, can you imagine creating a piece of content without using any keywords at all? Well, that’s almost impossible.

You create content about a topic and you add keywords even when you are just talking about it. This also means that you need to be careful and not stuff.

Use of the right keywords in web content makes crawling easy for search engines. This directly affects your website’s rankings.

2. Keywords are clues

Every keyword that you ever came across was, is and will always be a clue.

While every marketer keeps boasting about the importance of understanding your audience and their needs, keyword research actually gets you there.

While keywords like ‘Nokia 6.1 Plus Reviews’ and ‘Nokia 6.1 Plus specifications’ might show some similar search results, turns out they are different from each other.

Somebody using the term ‘reviews’ might be near the end of the sales funnel, while the user looking for specifications might just have started the journey as a potential buyer.

Both these keywords tell about two audience segments that you might want to entertain.

3. Fuel to PPC campaigns

Another brick in the wall. Keywords affect PPC campaigns.

Just as you’d consider keywords while writing a piece of content, you’d have to pick the right keywords even when you are planning a PPC campaign.

As mentioned in the sections above, keywords are important both for readers and search engines. The third arena here is of paid advertising.

You’d target your campaign depending on the buyer intent and keywords referring to the same.

And if you are facing problems with that, SEO Consultants Sydney will ease it for you. The point is, you should ensure the right use of keywords.

Final words

While the right usage and usability of keywords might give rise to a few arguments, the bottom line stays as it was. Keywords continue to be important.

While keywords alone can’t lift up a piece of content, a good piece of content too can’t perform without keywords. Be it for SEO or for PPC, without keywords you can’t excel. .

With this article, I tried to discuss why keywords are still relevant in 2019.

Hopefully, this post helped you.

Still think, it’s arguable? Get your friends and find out what they think? We’d love to hear the conclusion.

What is the Role of Digital Marketing, especially in SEO?

January 31, 2019 by Reporter Leave a Comment

digital marketing in 2019 article2

In the modern world, we are connected to information, products, and services anywhere, anytime. The internet, social media, and the widespread use of mobile devices play a key part in this. It’s also easier than ever for customers to give feedback.

Here are some of our top reasons why SEO, thanks to these changing technologies, has become so important…

1. Audience

According to SEO Shark, the SEO Sydney agency, it’s so much easier to reach a target audience and connect with them. Websites, emails, and social media make it possible to send content viral and reach people incredibly quickly.

2. Feedback and interaction

We’re no longer in an era of read-only content. There are more functions than ever that allow people to respond to the stuff they see – such as reviews, social media shares, blogs and vlogs about products and services.

Seeing others saying something about your brand, particularly in a positive light, increases our sense of how trustworthy and credible it is.

The interaction is a two-way street. Businesses can encourage the audience to get sharing and get talking by offering an incentive. Ask them to rate your service.

3. Cost

SEO in Digital marketing appears to be considerably more cost efficient than traditional marketing.

Traditional forms, whether it’s radio, print, or television, can really add up expenses. Although digital marketing does involve some costs such as paid online ads, it’s still cheaper overall.

If we take traditional marketing for example, to reach 2000 people you may need to exhaust the means of mail, tv/radio, and newspaper/magazines. These can all be worth hundreds of dollars each.

SEO on the other hand, may spend an estimate of $50 on paid search engine ads, and $70 for paid social network ads.

4. A capitol of genuine interest

While there are some paid online marketing measures, there is a large focus in SEO and other digital marketing forms on organic traffic. That is, having people arrive at the site naturally, through their own genuine curiosity.

This often achieved by publishing genuinely interesting and educational content. It’s now a fact that the mere sales pitch is quite unfulfilling to viewers, and in order to build rapport with prospective customers, a brand must first develop content that has…

(1) Good readability on any device – optimization must cover desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.

(2) Quality, informational content that answers questions that users are querying on search engines.

6. Easy to research and monitor

With online features like Google Analytics, and activity tracking tools on social media, it’s also easier than ever to do your market research. Not only does it make data collection a hell of a lot easier, but you can follow traffic in real-time and not waste weeks to see how responsive views and purchases are to changes you make.

7. Appealing to mobile consumption

As mentioned above, good content and relations with consumers entails realising that most of us access the internet on a mobile device. There’s no denying that use of smartphone and the like are exponentially growing.

They’re already such a huge part of our lives, as we search for information, products and services on the go – and it would downright suck if the page doesn’t load or the dimensions make it impossible to read. These technical aspects are highly important to everyone – viewers, search engines and marketing agencies alike.

No doubt that marketing is one of the most important parts of any business. Building awareness, credibility and like-ability for your brand is half the battle, if not more. It’s wonderful that the technologies of the modern world are making this easier than ever before.

Trove the Literary google search of australia – Search engines

April 30, 2010 by Reporter 4 Comments

Trove the search engine  that got resources from combined artistic resources of over 1000 libraries, museums, and other cultural institution from Australia  if proving a big contender for searches in this field  in contrast to other popular search engines. Trove – a National Library of Australia (NLA) initiative whose creators are calling it the Google of cultural heritage institutions have five dedicated software engineers continuously working on it.

About Trove -Trove is a new discovery experience focused on Australia and Australians. It supplements what search engines provide with reliable information from Australia’s memory institutions.

If you are researching in the fields of the social sciences, literature, local or family history, newspaper articles and magazine resources,  or need inspiration for your school assignment, then this is the tool for you.

Three years in the making, Trove is an offshoot of the Australian Newspapers Digitisation Program, a massive effort that has digitised and made available online 17 million historical articles from Australian newspapers between 1831 and 1954 since it began in March 2007. That program is set to catalogue 40 million more articles by next year. In the same way that Google harvest’s Web sites,  Trove set up harvesting across cultural heritage institutions and national resources and libraries

Trove, developed by many of the same staff, manages metadata on over 90 million historically significant items including pictures, unpublished manuscripts, books, oral histories, music, videos, research papers, diaries, letters, maps, archived Web sites and newspapers from 1803 to 1954.  Trove  search engine isn’t archiving the content itself, but manages metadata about indexed content. Thanks to a complex array of back-end connections with participating institutions – as well as with online databases like Amazon, Flicker, Google Books, and the Australian National Bibliographic Database – new content added to those institutions’ collections is automatically referenced in Trove.

For example if researching images relating to Edmund Barton, our first Prime Minister, results will include descriptions such as people, book, manuscript, map and newspaper articles. A researcher searching for information on Nellie Melba will be presented with a range of results including biographies, pictures, music, newspapers, books etc. The service works best in Internet Explorer 7+, Firefox 3+ or Safari 4+, at a screen resolution of 1024×768 or higher.

We did a search  for “Australian Digger” which came up with 42,968 results for newspapers , 1,734 results for picture and photos

and 2,397 results fo books journals and magazine articles.

We also did a search for “bogan” – Check out the results here

Libraries and archives have been mapping and digitizing letter, maps, diaries, newspapers and so on for a long time, and we know that public information-seeking happens a lot for literary purposes. Many people just want to see what they can get online  – and Trove provides access to unique Australian resources on the deep Web that you wouldn’t find elsewhere.

So looking for something you cant find  on Google, jump into this treasure trove of information 🙂
